hey guys sorry to bother but i have a major issue with my jeep i wrote about this before and i will break it down it had problems starting i would have to turn the key to the on position and wait for the fuel relay to kick in then it would start over time it would take longer and longer sometimes i would have to wait up to 20 minutes before this would kick in. it drives fine once it starts up but the problem is it wont start at all now i have power to all the relays the starter is fine everything works except it wont kick the fuel pump relay on anymore i checked the wires to the fuel pump and out of the three wires not one of them is hot not sure if they should be but they are not if i stick the test light in the fuel pump relay i can get pressure to the fuel log. to make a long story short i turns over and everything seems to work fine but no fuel oh yea with this problem when it was hot outside it would only take a minute or so before the relay would kick on but when it was cold it would not start for at least 5 to 20 minutes sorry if not complete but please feel free to ask questions and i will do my best to answer just dont want to spend alot of money fixing stuff that is not wrong thanks again..........P III

Chrysler uses a ASD and a fuel pump relais both are controlled by the ecm. Most likely an ecm problem.
You could always try to wire the ground circuit for those 2 relais to a switch or something like that see if that cures the problem, if so either leave it like that or find an other ecm, this seems to be a fairly common problem

Sounds exaclty like what was happening with my '95 YJ when the computer started to go bad. Check if the check engine light also takes a while to turn on. It should turn on as soon as you turn the key to RUN. On mine it would not come on for a while but once it did the Jeep would start right up. After a while it would almost never turn on. I spent about a month checking and rechecking voltages and grounds to the computer and finally ended up buying a new one.

the light goes on when i turn the key on but not all the time and sometimes when i was going down the road it would come on and stay on while i was driving i could turn the key off and back on while running and the light would go off like i said when the jeep did start it would run fine, well thanks for the info guys a friend gave me a 91 jeep cherokee today with a 4.0 ho he rolled it and it only had 63000 on it, it starts right up and the ax15 is in great shape so i might just take everything and put it in the jeep but i really do like my 2.5 but other than some motor mounts i should not have to spend alot of money....i will let you guys know and once again thanks.......P III

Sounds like your set now with the 4.0, I'm thinking when my 4 finally dies of going to something else maybe a nice fuel injected 6.0L:weee:
