Title: Reseting the ECU
Post by: Bill M. on August 19, 2008, 04:57:20 PM
I was reading through posts and I saw that if you install the 4.0 TB, you are supposed to reset the adaptive memory in the ECU by removing the positive cable from the battery and ground it out... I did that upgrade probably a year ago.... and never reset the ECU.. is this somehting I need to do???

the ECU usually resets itself after some odd number of restarts.  If it's been years, then it doesn't mater.  Weeks, then it might be a good idea.
