:brick: still trying to decide i have a 97 with a auto :'(
wat should i get?
i dont drive far ever just about 2miles to school everyday and i live in the country so no highways close by...
ive got a 4in. lift
cragar soft 8 rims with 4.75 BS
stock flares cops around here dont care :weee:
so wat do ya think

I have 33x10.50's and 5" of lift. With the 2.5L I wouldn't go any larger. MANY times I out perform our 4.0 counter parts with 33x12.50's. I like the look of the 10.50's!

Didn't we go through this already? I'd choose 33x10.5R15's. I like the look of the narrower tire. I run 35x12.5R15's and if I downsized, I'd go with 10.5's to get a similar proportion. I like tires under the flares, not for Johnny Law but because when the tires pick up crap, it gets flung all over the place. If you drive in rain, the tires will kick water through your window if you ahppen to leave it open. If you have a soft top crap will get flung up across the rear side and stain the top. These are sort of nitpicky but if it's a daily driver, they do become issues that will wear you down.

yes we did i just want to make sure i am doing the right thing lol sorry but thanks :thumb:

The skinnier tires will gain you somewhat better fuel milage, about 1-2 miles per gallon
-
Get the wider tires for more stability off-road.
-
you guys also need to remember i have stock gearing and axels :fitz: so i thinks the 1250 is kinda big

my soft8's stick my bald old 31 1050s out about an inch or two past the fender so i think i have the stability what do u think?

You will most likely be fine but more is always safer.

Just go with the 10.5's. You're already widening the stance with the wheels over stock. Since you have stock gearings, the additional weight and rolling resistance will work against you.

I went from 12.50 to 11.50 tires, same diameter but definite gain in milage. Wheels the same, no change in stability and can still do 45 or better on these nice curves getting on the freeway

thats exactly what i want a 33x11.50 where did you get them and who makes them? If i could get those i would be very happy

I run 32x11.50 goodyear mtr's same exact diameter as cooper stt 33x12.50's. Much better tire also the coopers had a bad habit of chunking on rocks

I was told that BFG MT's came in 33X10.50 but I haven't been able to find them locally!!!

American Tires? I had to order my 34x9.5R15's when I bought it.

33x10.5 are the way to go. BFG AT's from tirerack, fit like a charm. 6" flares 2" lift up front, no lift rear.
