Title: How to fix my steering wheel
Post by: chutestrate on September 25, 2008, 12:01:28 PM
I have a 2000 Wrangler SE with the stock steering wheel.  The rubber cover has come loose at the top.  It rolls front to back now.  Eventually I'm sure it will tear.  How do I fix it?  I'm wondering if there is a way to put some epoxy in there, but that may not be the fix.  Any suggestions?

Epoxy?  Is there a seam on the backside or is it molded without a seem?

Hmm, maybe inject a glue like Gorilla Glue which expands.  Only other thing I can think if is to cut a small slit on the backside.

I want to inject glue, but figuring the best way is my quandry.  maybe cutting a slit to add the glue is the way.  I'll post pics when I get out of work.
