Anybody here used a wideband o2 sensor on their jeep? What results did you get and how helpful is it in tuning the jeep?
-
Nobody has used one?

I'd like to know the results, too. What would u even use to run the wideband, Megasquirt? Or somethin else?

Kits range from $200-$300 that have their own guage, sensor, and bung.

Anyone running a turbo or supercharger will be running a wide band O2. They are used for diagnostics and allow for one to fine tune their engine, especially when running a FMU. You can use them with just a bar gauge so you know if your engine's running lean/rich. Nothing to mystical about them. Really though, you need to be doing something drastic for the PCM not to be able to adjust on it's own.

We're setting one up shortly on my buddy's drag car (Nova) so I'd be interested as well.
-
I don't have a FMU but plan on running a wideband o2 to see if any adjustments are needed after all the mods. I'll probably finish the adj. MAP if the timing needs tweaked.
I've got a:
Mopar Performance cam
62mm TB and spacer
Airtube and K&N
Ford v8 injectors
Taurus fan
Borla header
FirePower ignition kit

If your not running a FMU then what good is it? Dont u need the FMU so u can make the adjustments you need? If not how else r u going about it?

He'd be able to control it a little by using the adj. MAP. Timing would need to be adjusted by moving the CPS a little.
