I went wheeling this past weekend at Redbird and the power wire for my gauges quit working and my reverse lights quit working, do these have their own fuse that I havent found yet or what would their fuses be under? I know on the gauges i just cut the wire where i hooked in to the old factory gauge power wire and just ran one straight to the battery to get me through the day. Do the autometer gauges pull that much more power than the stock ones? Other than electrical issues :brick: everything else worked great this weekend and nothing broke

Gauges huh? Does your horn work? If not then it's probably the small red 15A fuse under the hood in the Power Distribution box next to the battery. My guess is yes, those Automaters do pull more amps. Each individual gauge is lit as poopsed to a bank on the stock set up. But really it depends on what tehy're using to light them. If they're LED's then probably not.

The lights on the gauges are run off the parking light circuit, I got power to the lights for the gauges, just not power to operate the gauges. I'm tempted to just skip the factory wiring and just use a relay and wire them to the battery, and I don't know about the horn havent had the horn button for a few years...

Have a radio?

The only thing on the radio wires I use is the keyed ignition to turn the amp on and then I just plug my Ipod in to the amp and control the volume and all from the Ipod... I'm gonna mess with it tonight some when I get off work and see what else I can come up with.

What I'm getting at is the power for the radio, horn and dash lights and I think headlights are all on the same fuse, under the hood.

Also interior lights, and cigarette plugin.

I found that I have a short in the reverse lights somewhere, so that shouldnt be to hard to find, and I was planning on taking them off the rollbar and putting them back on the rear bumper, so this just means it will need to get done before i go to the badlands in a few weeks
