This auction is for a 1998 Jeep Wrangler with 46,800 miles.  It has a lot of extras on it and is a small project.  The Jeep has 20 x 10 inch wheels with 53 inch Michelin tires, 8-lug 3/4 ton running gear front and rear, factory suspension changed to leaf springs.  This truck has a 4.0 inline six cylinder engine with automatic transmission.   This truck was a recovered theft so it does have a salvage title but I have the paper showing it was stolen and then recovered the next day so it was quickly recovered.  Front windshield has cracks and needs replaced.  May have to be inspected to get a tag and registration depending on your state.  The ignition was broken and right now it is wired to crank with two switches but it will need an ignition switch to be back to factory.   It has a cd player.  The tires and wheels are in good shape.  This jeep is one of the biggest newer style jeeps I have ever seen.  It needs a transmission mount (completely gone) and I would recommend beefing up the front steering arm and fixing a stripped bolt going from the steering arm to the spindle before driving it so I would recommend bringing a trailer to pick it up.  Body is straight but has some scratches.  Good luck bidding.

Can I cry now? 53's? leafs? 20"'s? 44/60? Where did this person get the brain capacity to even find any of these parts after getting such a horrible thought in his head?

I know, I know, street queen... but it was a Rubicon before he ruined it! Wait... 98? Nevermind... he just decided to defile another great jeep name...

I would buy it to sell the pieces individually then use that profit to make it actually work in some practical application...

I wouldn't even feel safe pulling that thing on a trailer.

It would look so much cooler with a 28" spare on the back

Those tires alone probably sell for twice my YJ's Blue Book value.
Dude probably needs a grappling hook to get in the thing.    Its ideal for the trails in Ft. Lauderdale, though

Someone should determine exactly how much they could get for selling those tires, wheels, and springs! See if you can actually get profit from buying this thing!

Unless the 44 is a LP (my dyslexia betrays my ability to discern what it is), or the 60 is only a 19 spline, those could actually be practical for 35's or more.

See if the profit from selling the crap would be enough for; front four link, sye (unless the guy was smart enough to get one), coil overs (optional), tube fenders and skids, wheels and tires, and smaller rear leafs. With that setup you can definately have a very capable rig!

EDIT: (since I still can't figure out how it works) Is that a 14bt rear? I can't tell from the angle, but it looks a bit different from a 60... Could that be a 60 front, and the massiveness of the tires is just skewing my perception? Ah confusion...

I've seen plenty of newer fords(maybe?) and dodges with a 60/14bt combo, already outfitted with either leaf/leaf, radius/leaf, or 4 link/leaf, so maybe he just stole some off a newer truck? Are there drawbacks from these newer axles?

Chris, are you from Ft. Lauderdale?  I am in Miami, so let me know if you are...

By the way, HORRIBLE Jeep that they are selling!  That thing can only be driven on VERY FLAT ground, I imagine!

I'm over in LA, Ca. Felipe.  If I lived down that way, I'd give you a call.  Man, last time I was in Miami, Bill Clinton was only half way through his first term!  Been awhile

That TJ with the monster Michelin tires looked like the Jeeps and trucks you used to see in Florida around Spring Break.  I was just poking fun at it.
