Well, just to start things off and to give you guys a good mental pic, I'm 6'-7" and drive a YJ, until today I couldn't turn on the left turn signal without taking off my door (hits my knee). Today I ground off the seat slide stops, so my seat goes back about 2 more inches until it hits the rollbar. Now what i won't give to raise the steering wheel about an inch, any chance on putting Tilt wheel in a YJ? and whats up with the steering wheel being offset from the seat, It Drives me nuts!

Hardest part is finding a tilt column. Otherwise it's just unbolt old column, bolt in new one.

Here is a great place to look for used parts. You might find a yard close to you, if not then most of them ship. Most have 800 numbers.
You can look for those axles there too.
This site has been in my favorites for years.

I can just picture High Tower from the Police Academy movies.....ripping out the drivers seat and sitting in the rear to drive. :roflol: I have a short family member who borrows my jeep from time to time and never returns the seat to its original position......and I'll just go ahead and jump in smashing my knees on the steering wheel.
Considering your height....you dont need tilt steering you need one of these.
