whats up guys.. im gonna fab up my own air intake using the factory box.i need some advice first tho.im gonna get the 62mm tb as well so i was thinkin about going with 2.5" or 3" piping.62mm is just under 2.5" so i dont wanna go to big.
so how big should i go to keep from losing power?

Measure where the tube goes into the TB. Whatever that measurement is that's what I would go with.

I've found it easiest to use a 4.0L intake tube, takes out all the hassle. Nice smooth tube and doesn't have the chambers the 2.5L does.

I thought the 2.5 and 4.0 TB had the same size intake hole (where the air intake is). When I went from the 2.5L TB to the 4.0 my rockit city air tube fit both with no problems.
Are they the same size?

OD vs. ID OD is the same. That's what the intake relies on.
