Well I I have to get new tires I've got some 40,000 miles on the 31x10.50's ive got on and its snowy and these tires are now slicks. I need some help and input choosing new tires. I must admit the bulk of my driving is done roads but I do go down a fair number of trails during huntings and drive on the frozen lakes alot in the winter and snow. I wouldn't mind going a little taller but I don't think I want 33s Its got a 3.5" suspension lift on it and I think they would fit I just don't want to lose 5th gear nor do a re-gear a this time. Thankyou guys merry christmas

BFG KO's...
If you want larger tires without loosing too much power then either go with 32x11.5R15's or 33x9.5R15's. The narrower tires would give you less rolling resistance, wind resistance and be a little lighter so performance should be better.

I know I want to stick with my current wheels they are 15" and I know they are fine for 10.50 is there 32x10.5?

Mickey Thompson MTZ's. You get the benefit of an "almost" mud tread without all the noise. They don't pack up as bad in the snow as AT's

I just looked at those MTZ's they are nice, expensive but nice. Anyone ever seen these Icelander by Green Diamond great for snow and ice it says

Weird, those look exactly like the Yokohama geolandar MT's that I had on my CJ for a while. The Geolandars worked pretty well in the snow, but the sidewalls were really thin.
-
Looks like they are using the Geolander MT tread pattern and putting it on a used carcass. I.E. Retread. Look at the write up and you will see where they recycle tires into the Green Diamond brand.
They look like a great tire. Not sure on the sidewall strength.

What are you current wheels? Stock are either 15x6 9 slot or 15x7 5 spokes. For 15x6 10.5" is the limit. Actually it's pushing it a bit but they look nice on the stock wheels. 10.5" would sit nicely on a 7" wide wheel.
BFG also sells a 33x10.5R15 KM if you want a mud. One thing to think about with odd tire sizes is that you will want to carry your own spare. People will more likely have 31x10.5 and 33.12.5's. You rarely find anyone with a 32 or a 33x9 or 33x10. If you don't want to have to buy a new spare then stick with your current size tire.

Hmm thin sidewalls are no good, punctured one of my tires on a trail a month ago or so, a log right into the sidewall.
Is there a size between a 31x10.5 and 33x10.5 that you think would fit my rims?

Like I said mine were Yokohamas with the same tread pattern - which doesn't say anything about what the sidewalls on the greendiamonds might be like. Just though it was curious that they had duplicated the tread pattern.
-
Well not too worried about buying a new spare cuz my current spare is the stock donut haha had to put that thing to get out too not worth a shit

Well, if you buy your tires from a place like American Tires, you can get road hazard for $15 which they will honor even if you're offroad.
There is not, unless you go Pmetric and you'd have to run a 16" wheel.

Thanks Jeffy those BFG Ko's look nice and somewhat more affordable, thanks

For what it sounds like you're doing I would look at the Cooper STT's as well. Great all around tire.
-
Also might want to look at the Hercules Trail Digger MT. It's a cheaper tire, but the one guy in my club who runs them seems pretty impressed with them.

i could say that brg have never let me down(yj), but for an all terrain tire the cooper sst are some of the best tires i have ever had (wj)
