Title: Will Fuel Injector work
Post by: GreenJeeper on December 17, 2008, 09:26:00 PM
My friend has just given me his old injectors from his mustang.  Part # is F2LE-b2a all I know is that they are 24lbs and have 1 metal spray jet.  Would I see any difference at all.  My jeep is a 97 with the 2.5  of course...... with all usual mods done to it Thanks

That is an older Design II injector.  Since it's a single jet, I'm not sure if it would be any better then the stock.  Although it might prove better then stock if you have some engien mods to go with it.

Ill give it a shot.  I have done the 4.0 tb, electric fan, performance wires cap and rotor, exhaust and cold air mods.  Just wondering if it will run lean or rich.  The jet looks to be made of brass dunno why this is different with the other injectors I have seen on this site

The computer will adjust to the injectors.  23.2 vs 24 isn't as big as 17.4 vs 19 on the YJ's.  I've passed Dyno'd Emission tests with flying colors with my YJ.
