Title: Budget lift help

Have just fitted a 2" Budget lift to my TJ 2" spacers on the springs and new shocks, I managed to get it all back together, but now the rear track bar is pulling the axle off centre so that one of the tyres is rubbing on the body. Have I done something wrong or do I need longer track bars and if so is it OK to cut the existing one and lengthen it. The front doesn't seem as bad but prob. needs lengthening a bit as well. What's the best way forward please, bearing in mind that I'm in the UK and any new parts will need to be imported.

You need a relocation bracket or an adjustable trac bar.

The budget boost doesn't shift the axle very much, so it sounds like you're running oversized tires on stock rims, correct?

I would personally cut and sleeve the rear track bar to lengthen it.  Or get wheel spacers, or an adjustable track bar.  But I'm cheap and would cut and sleeve something like a rear track bar.

jeeps are all about cutting and welding. that's all they did to the aftermarket brackets or just make. stop by a local farming/tractor store and go nuts!!! lol do you have princess auto there??? that place is heaven for Jeeps owners lol
