Title: engine clicking?

When ever i first start up the engine the clicking noise is most noticeable. It happens during idle and then when i rev up it gets a lot louder. any ideas? I Just installed a new exhaust so i know its not from that but i couldn't think of where it was coming from.

Did the new exhaust include a new manifold?  That's the most common culprit, either a cracked manifold or a leak due to broken manifold studs.  Check the front and rearmost exhaust studs on the exhaust manifold.

ihad the same sound and first thought the same thing  (engine) but ended up being the fan clutch.
