Title: stalls in rev
Post by: dbr5010 on March 01, 2009, 02:20:05 PM: I have did some searches and cant find much ,i got a 95 yj 3 speed at 4cly . I pulled someone out awile back and had to snach hard to get them out and the next day started haveing problems , i can go from n to r and it starts to shake alittle from p to r it shakes and cuts off when i am driving and come to a stop i have to keep my foot on the gas and brake to keep it going . So far i have clean the tb and a new iacv and no luck any idea will help thanks.

I'm thinking the problem is in the drivetrain someplace. You'll have to localize it to the transmission or transfer case or axles.

Easy way to check the transmission is to put the transfer case in Neutral and then shift through the gears. You'll need to jack it up to check the transfer and axle.

Off topic what size screw is in the tps to the tb , i stip it trying to get it out brfore dark and where can i get one hardware or what .

I'm not sure if a TPS still help. Id you disconnect your TPS, the engine will not idle until it's warned up. You would have to stay on the throttle to baby it. If it was the CPS, the ending wouldn't start and might die all of a sudden.

Not sure on the screw. Take the good one and measure it. It could be Metric.
