Anyway to check the timing chain without removing anything? jeep idles but doesnt runs well under load i have replaced tps, cps, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel injector, cat converter, flywheel, distributor, and ecu. It still doesnt run right. stalls out and has no power compression is around 130! I dunno let me know what you guys think!

yea put a wrendh on the crank nd nd pull the dist cap and watch the rotor as you spin the crank back and fourth there shld be no lag
-
so there should be no slack in the chain at all?
-
i think there is a acceptable amount of slack but forgot what it was...

you would be able to tell if it is excessive or not. i believe a little bit is okay.

What about the marks and where they are supose to line up? I am not sure seems like everything is good though. What are signs that it may have jumped?
