I found a local private seller selling a Borla header for a 4cyl Jeep, it's brand new never installed for cheap enough to make me happy. I just want to make sure I can use it on my Jeep before I buy it, I tryed looking up the part number on Borla's website and it wasn't found. I also tried looking up my Jeep to see what it said it needed and it doesn't list anything available for it. I have a '94 YJ, and the header has "E.O. #D278-10" stamped on it. Anyone know if I can use it?

I would email them or better yet call.

I've got a Borla header on the bench waiting to go on, will check the numbers and post.
Does it have the welded tube for the heat riser?

Mine is stamped D276-10, I think mine is for the earlier TBI or carb'd 2.5L as it has a metal tube attached to one pipe for a hot air tube to the intake, as well as something coming off the collector that looks like it's for smog equipment. I think mine will still work on my '95 2.5L, I hope.
Just did some google work, mine has the same number as this 6cyl Borla header, I think it's some type of Emissions exemption number or something. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=948042
Any ideas what the EO stands for?

I think it's "Executive Order" and pertains to California emissions exemption.

I just heard back from the seller and he said it was originally purchased for an '88 YJ, but it doesn't have the heat riser or anything on it as far as I can see in the pics.
I guess my main question on this is will the mounting flange for the header be different on the older carb/tbi motor versus my EFI motor, I can make the rest of it work if I have to, it's just the mount that I want to make sure is right.
Thaks for all the info so far guys.
