And would be really cool if it wern't for the huge stack on the side that makes it useless as a trail vehicle.

Pretty nice rig other wise. It would be nice to have the 1 ton drivetrain. But with the 4BT you would crazy not to.

voted. but do like that diesel too

Got my vote!
I think if it wasn't for the fact that rrbgtt has a Cummins in his rig, you'd have a stomping lead

IF I wasn't in it I would have voted for the one with the Cummins! There are things I like about his Jeep and things I don't, but overall it's pretty nice.
Thanks for the votes! Maybe I can run him down. It's all fun!

You got my vote, I like diesel engines but for a Jeep a cummins 4 popper is to heavy for the power it puts out.
I would rather use a 5cyl Mercedes engine or the new engine they use in the Dodge sprinter that thing is light revs well has good torque and lots of power the biggest challenge is finding one and come up with a bellhousing.
I love the cummins 6bt and ISB engines but anything less than a 6cyl from them would be a waste of time and effort

Personally I like the TOyota diesel engines (the ones found in their pickup trucks, 4 runners and land cruisers overseas; dont know the engine codes)

Hell yeah, the Hi-lux came with an awesome 4 banger diesel. That's the one they beat the Jell-O out of on Top Gear.
