i found injectors on ebay that are from a 99-02 escort and have the correct connector (ev1). They are 19.4 bosch injectors that are gray and just wanted to know if they would work for my yj. Let me know what you think. Here is the link for them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bosch-19-4-lb-injector-EV1-connector-ford-chevy_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQhashZitem19b3871796QQitemZ110386157462QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I went with the yellow topped ones, and they work fine, but not sure if I would risk it with some unknown injecors...

Well i bought the injectors and installed them today, does seem to help out some but i know it will get better once i get some miles on the jeep with the new ones in, so these are also an option and you only get 4 cuz they are from and escort!!!

I wondered who got those. My brother-in-law works as a Ford parts manager in NM, he didn't get back in time for me to buy them. What he came up with is that he thinks that are a replacement part. That would account for the different color. That was the best he could figure. He has seen it on some other parts when a supply manufacture changes or upgrades their replacement parts.

I tend to agree that they are replacements and not OE. As replacements aren't always the same color as the OE. It's cheaper for a MFG to make one color, black or grey is pretty common.

Gonna hijack the thread, but I figure its better than starting a new one. I picked up a set of design IIIs that came out of a 4.6 Lincoln town car. Will these injectors work w/o problems?
-
They should. V8's are pretty good sources since you can get 2 complete sets. Just check and see if they have 1 or 4 jets. Most seem to have 4.
-
Yep got all 8 w/ new rings to boot. Im gonna put them on today and see how they do.

Just got done putting them in. 4.6 19lb'ers do work. All I can say is wow. They really woke the jeep up from 2k rpm and above. That was prob partially because the old ones were 140k stockers, but I can feel a big difference. Now Ive got a set of 4 to get sell off.
