Title: Classic Jeeps in Colombia
Post by: jfrabat on June 13, 2009, 02:07:26 PM
Well, I'm on a business trip in Bogota, and since it is Saturday, I figured I'd hit the mall for a stroll.  When I walk into the mall, it turns out there was a classic car disply, and there were a few Jeeps, so I thought "hmm, I'm sure the guys at4bangerjp will enjoy his", whipped out my phone (by the way, sorry about the crappy pics, but the new phone does not take as good pics as the old one!), and snapped some pics...  Here they are:

Yes, GPW's were the first to use those 'bumperettes'.  They are worthless for anything over 5mph.

I like the trailer too.  Although, I'm not sure about the color.

I agree with the color thing, the first jeep was the closest afaik. I think the CJ is cute though, haha.

Yeah, the Jeep with the trailer was a bit light colored...  I dont know if it was another theatre or what.  But it was nicely taken care of otherwise, so I guess he used as a reference some odd colored Jeep, because with the amount of work that was probably taken to restore it and the trailer, I am not sure they would mess up the color that much...
