Title: Transponder Key Questions

Hello All,
I finally got a jeep, it is a 2000 wrangler sport. (I Will post pics soon)

Anyway, I only have 1 key, and would like a back up or two...

Does my key have a transponder in it?
It is black and I can see the steel of the key all the way around to key ring hole.

i am sure anyplace that makes keys will tell ya next time you are in hardware store. always check key in all doors and ign before you pull away. Round here its about 50% them getting it right.lol
