Well, you can by modifying your CPS.  This will give you a few degrees, tops.  Distributor should be keyed to go in 0* or 180* so you can adjust the timing the normal way.

It's not the Camshaft but the Crank Shaft Position Sensor.  The computer watches the crank to know where the pistons are.  Advance the CPS and the computer will think the marks are coming up faster or slower then normal.
