I bought a dana30 for the alloys and the locrite. it was set up for soa and has the high steer pass side knuckle. can i use this as an upgrade on my 4"sua or is it meant for soa only and i should sell
-
ok. looked it up. its the fabtech high steer system. looks to me like when compressed the draglink will hit the frame. does anyone w sua run high steer or should i sell and buy moog
-
If the draglink will get into the frame, you may need longer bumpstops. Will make your springs last longer as well.
A simple tierod flip may help in your situation, using tapered inserts in the steering arms.

I dnt notice any real bad steering w my stock set up with extended drop pit arm. the part where the drag link hits knuckle is 6" above the center link. my drag link will be totally parallel to ground

Is it worth the loss of susp travel just to so i have histeer. i was thinking if i stay w 33's I would be solid with moog tre and a centerlink flip for clearance
-
How's your bumpsteer?
-
Not too bad on the road. Doesnt force me into another lane or anything drastic. Roads on south side of chicago arnt too smooth either. Just havnt heard of anyone using histeer w sua. Anybody?

By the way JJ. If I sell for cash you are first in line. Otherwise might be looking to package w a 231 for help installing my 8.8 and sye. I think you may be closer to me than bounty hunter.
