Title: towing
Post by: lanulos89 on December 31, 2005, 07:43:42 PM
hi my yj has a throttle body spacer, pacesetter exhaust, cool air intake.  its and automatic, and is at stock height (for now). i was wondering about how much weight i would be able to tow with it.  I have a boat that weighs probably about 3000lbs and wanted to know if i would be able to launch it??

You might want to rethink this.  According to the towing specs in my FSM, towing anything over 2000lb may not work. Even if you do get it rolling you may play hell stopping it.

true i dunno maybe ill giv it a shot, b/c in the hot summer heat its more fun to be rolling in a wrangler with the top down rather than a blazer.
