Want to put a header on my 90 yj, everything i find is 91-95 . will they fit? what brand? banks, borla , pacesetter ? who was a set on there 90 yj ? tx

I have a Thorley tri-Y. Works very well and High quality.
The main reason you don't see the application for the 90 is the EGR.
The MPFI Yj's don't have it. SO the headers mostly don't have a port to hook up to.
Mine had the port, I welded it shut cause I did not need it...

is that triple Y on a 4-banger or a 6?

when i was looking for a header for my 1990 there where alot that said they wouldn't fit if you had power-steering... but i think someone here said that that just means you need to notch the ps bracket (iirc)

i notched a little off the bracket with the pacesetter but i had the exhaust wrap on it. It's a fairly tight bend for cyl1 so some of them might not fit at all (not sure how much you would have to take off the p/s mount)

My thorley is 2 into 2 into 1 :)
They are also firing order paired. (Helps torque out a lot!)
