I am replacing the upper and lower ball joints on my 97 tj this weekend, and wanted to know if anyone had any tips to offer to make it go smoothly? I seached the rest of the site and couldnt find anything on this topic. I have done them before just not on a jeep. Thanks for any input :-)

Big hammer to knock the knuckle of the balljoint studs and a decent balljoint press and you ought to be in business

took me a big cheater bar to get the axle nut loose and make sure u have the big socket for the axle nut. and of cousre the obvious that got me make sure u get the brake dust shield on the right way i got it turned and had to take it apart again (i gotta start paying more attention, nit a big deal but cost me an extra hour of my life. That was the only problems i ahd other than that should have no problem
