I was surpised with the mix they put together. They were all nice but some where alot more built than others.

JF has been going down hill for a long time. I think it really started to snowball around the same time they implemented the pay accounts. JF used to be more tech oriented and less 'me too'. I was a member back when they used the old forum which sucked as it cascaded the topics. Now I see JF more like JU.

JF is the new JU. JU has gone down to about nothing as far as traffic. JF is the Pirate lite :pirate: The pay to play on those sites sucks! :guns:
I mostly lurk on those sites. I like this one the most for some reason. :hump:

JF is Pirates? I don't think so since Pirates has a lot of good solid tech. Not so much with JF. :drink:

There is alot of tech on Pirate. Still alot of :twofingers: to weed thru sometimes. But with as large of forum as it is it's to be expected.

I'd say Pirates is closer to 50/50 as the forum weeds out the 'me too' people for the most part. JF is maybe 20/80 at best. Too bad too, I used to like it there. I don't have time to hang out on any other Jeep forums. I've got to baby sit all of you guy's. :wall:

I pretty much hang out here 90% of my time. I like the tech on :pirate: and the chit chat area brings the funny as well as drama. There is deals to be had in the for sale area. I try and keep an eye out on various boards for deals on stuff.
For a rather small membership this board has alot of great tech. There is alot of good people here. I need all the help I can get at times. :brick:

I agree as far as JF going downhill though... I joined only a few years ago and it still had good tech threads coming up and a lot of well-written how to's. I'm not on there nearly as much as I used to be, hell I'm not on any forums as much as I used to be. But the two I frequent most are here and a fitness forum. But recently- the people on the fitness forum had weird internet drama going on? :eek: So I'm not there very much.
I like it here though... You get the right answers not just the "I don't know... 10 char" answers like JF. We're small but a tight group.
And I just remembered I've been here for over a year now :weee:
