Hey guys, my heep is marking it's territory everywhere it goes. It is leaking
on top back passenger side. Looks to be coming from head gasket.( I know
that's is unlikely) vavlve cover is on tight, looks like around #4 cylinder.
Any ideas besides taking her out back and putting her out.
Speedo wigged out one day bouncing around all crazy, then
worked and was twenty mph off. Then later stopped working
I took apart and put back together and it started working.
I think she has Desmons.
2005 2.4 w/120 k. Ish.

maybe the gasket for the valve cover is baked - i would replace that to begin with (unless there's a crack in the valve cover). dunno about the speedo, i think yours doesn't have a gear, if it is same as earlier models with a warm gear in the t-case i would say that was clocked wrong and was not engaging the gear on the output shaft and that got fixed when you put it back in, but like i said i think you have a different type a speedo sensor.

Yea I took out the speedo gear and put back in. Guess it was just loose. Or I let the desmons out.
I'm gonna tear into valve cover tomorrow and see what happens. Worst case I'll get a bigger hammer.
