since i am laid off and cant really afford trail experience...are there any good reads on wheeling,spotting,saftey. I am sure u get the point

I too like Jim Allen.  He was on the 4banger mailing list.  I don't really like Moses Ludel's stuff as much.  I have Jim's Buyer's Guide as well as the first edition of the Jeep 4x4 Performance Handbook.

Yea I wish...But I live in chicago and we have to pay to play...cliffs is about an hour away

But with no breakdowns thats a $100 day with gas and all.
Just gonna have to hold out for taxes and my vacation check.
Web wheeling only gets me so far...lol
Plus one of the clubs I am in is fairly new with alot of new jeepers and I figure all the knowledge I can gather the better. There are some good stickeys on here(thanks jeffy) and the recovery bible on pirate is pretty good any other advice on good stickeys out there
