Title: tj seat bracket

A buddy bought an 03 tj and the passenger seat doesnt flip up correctly, is there a way to adjust braket or should I just send him to areliable for a replacement?

Send him where?  What do you mean it doesn't flip up correctly?  Did the cable break?

There is a cable then? It is different then my yj completely. areliable is a junkyard of sorts but they pull it for you and charge more but still cheaper then new.

Yes, there is a cable that allows the seal to be lifted up and they tend to break.  You can probably take the whole seal out and then fix the cable.
