Title: tj 2.5l rebuild
Post by: redneck97 on June 18, 2010, 12:18:12 PM
It is time to rebuild the old powerplant but I want to get more performance out of it.  I was wondering if anyone has a build sheet for a performance 2.5l.  I have seen yj's but I don't want to go .06. I would like to bore it @ .030. Thanks

I found the mopar performance parts list but can someone please explain the stages to me.  Especially the timing for HP and increase of compression ratio.

I have the mopar performance jeep motor book which details various stages of perf build-ups...problem is almost all the speed parts are discontinued and unobtainium at this point. beyond a cam swap its gonna take some serious money to build appeciable power wout forced induction.
