Title: 91 cheroquer 2wd 5spd to 4wd conversion

My buddy has a 91 cherokee, 6banger 5spd 2wd. He is wanting to make it 4wd. Anyone have any thoughts?

I told  him to just get the tranny/tcase off of one ive seen in our local yard, and i have a front axle he can run.

Along with driveshafts and shifter linkage.  May as well look for a '94+ transmission so he has the external clutch slave.
