I know this is probably all too common of a question, but i couldnt find anything on the subject.... I know the bolt pattern is the same, and the back spacing is different... but can you use the TJ rims/tires on a YJ? Are any spacers required? Are any of you guys running the TJ rims?
Thanks for any info

For the most part the backspacing is the same. Some of the wheels are 100% the same. You can even run XJ wheels on a YJ or TJ.
So, yes.

So.... for instance..... 2006 Rubicon wheels on a 95 YJ not a problem?

I'm sure that they are 16", but they are the same bolt pattern so they should fit.

Physically they will fit but now you're also changing tire size, that changes thing. Also keep in mind that Rubicon tires have a E Load rating. This makes them very heavy. A friend of mine suspected that his stock Rubicon wheels and tires weighed as much as my 35" MTR on my aluminum wheels.
Also, you're moving to 16" wheels so tire selections will be less then with a 15" but not too bad.
