Post by: knotts89 on October 01, 2010, 01:52:03 AM
Hey guys i was thinkin about puttin a magnaflow free flow cat on my tj but was wondering if it would help it or hurt it. I have heard people say they have had no back pressure after doing this and lost power. i  was just wondering what yall have experienced. Thanks for the help

It's a great cat.  I've had two over the years.  Flow is as good is not better but importantly they are a lot smaller.  They are also stainless steel so they won't be rusting out.  They're a lot cheaper then Random Tech's as well.

i don't think the cat has a hanger or at least on my YJ it doesn't (it's on the downpipe), could be on TJ though

TJs used a few different cat setups depending on the year.  They are model and year specific for the bolt-on's.
