Mine is 3rd. :lol:
-
what about reverse :puzzled:... i went with 3rd good gear on-road to make it seem as though there's power under the hood.. although I use 2 (or 1st)more than 3 off road...
-
High mountain dirt road, a cooler full of beer, bucket of chicken and all in second gear...How could it possibly be better?
-
3rd also.Its a good gear for deep muddy roads(4L)will save your clutch,also I use 3rd alot when on bumpy side roads 20 -30 mph.flows through the bumps better than if in 2nd (throttle response from foot hitting accel every bump)
-
6th
but only have a 5 spd :lol:
-
all of the above
-
First, since that is pretty much what I do most of my rock crawling in
-
2nd here (assuming it's for wheeling). Low enough to have power, high enough to clean the tires.
-
Tranny = 1st
Klune = low
T-case = high
This is the set up I use most.
-
Second (in 4L) because I consider it to be a "secret weapon". Many times an obstacle that was tough in first becomes easy by just trying it in second instead (mostly hills and low traction ledges, not so much on rocks).
-
Granny gear on the rocks. Mine only goes to 4th, but I would love an overdrive on the highway. :(
-
3rd driving around town, 2nd off road in 4Lo.
1st in both Lo and Hi, I try to avoid because of the sensitive throttle.

My favorite gear is reverse. It's used to back out of the garage, driveway, parking spot or off a trailer. It's the gear that starts all the fun! It's also great for extracting your a$$ when you are having trouble with any of the other gears. It's the lowest ratio gear (assuming you're running an ax-5), so you get lots of torque. It even has a lock out to prevent you from using it when you don't want to! Jeffy didn't even include my favorite gear on the picklist. :'(
