It depends on the wheel width as well as the weight of the vehicle. Unless someone has the exact setup, you're better off doing the chalk line across the tire.

Yep I agree with Jeffy with the chalk line. Start with stock air psi. rate from door sticker and go from there. Good luck :thumb:

ill give it a try just want to make sure i dont mess up a new set of tires, i seem to have bad luck with them an i always rotate them so i must be doing something else wrong

You want to make sure the tread patch goes all the way across the tire. So if you roll the Jeep with the tires on, the chalk should come off evenly. If not then adjust the pressure. If it wears off on the center only you know you're over inflated. You will need to do this with the front and rear tires and they will take different pressures. The door should say 28psi on the front 30psi in the rear, IIRC.
Keep in mind that a 8" wheel will require less pressure then a 10" wheel for the same pattern. This is because the tire needs to be a bit under-inflated on the narrower wheel. The narrow wheel pinches the sidewalls in which causes the tread to round out a bit as if it was overinflated.

i have 33x12.5x15 on mine and ran 30 to 32 psi, but i had 10'' rims, so that could be different in your case.

got the tires put on the other day and man do they look great. Gives the jeep a whole new look
