Title: Old Project??

Hey guys i'm new to this forum. I drive a 97 Wrangler with 3" of lift, 33x12.50s, aussie locker up front, and have a ford 8.8 and new 4.88 gears being installed in the next 1-2 weeks.. Now to my question. Big part of the reason i joined this forum is a project i read or a performance rebuild? guy rebuilt his engine changed all the internals bored it. said he was getting around 200 hp? was just wondering where this project might be? i searched but could not find it.. thanks for the help

Hmm, YJmechanic's build maybe?  I forget is Dave's getting those numbers.  Would be easier to go forced induction then go crazy on internals if you're having something else do the build though.

Yes through a little more poking around it was YJmechanics build, still cannot find a link to the page or anything though

and a big reason this particular build interested me over a forced induction is that i am getting up there in the miles and thought it would be nice to do a rebuild, while doing one i might as well increase my performance by double as he did..

You could always rebuild it mild then Force Induction.
