New 07 Wrangler information is out, not sure if this is old news or not.   What do you guys think?   I fear change, garth...  I hated the TJ when it came out.   I owned a 89 at the time.   Now I am trying to be more open minded about the TK.   No 4 banger option.   Bigger, well see.   What do you guys think about buying a vehicle the first year?  My father always told me to wait a year or so.   Lots of plastic...  I wonder what the sticker will be?

Well, personally I'm bummed that they dropped the 4banger. Gettin' away from the roots. Next thing you know we'll have "keyless entry" and seat heaters.  :cry:

I was at the jeep dealership geting my oil changed and was talking to a sales guy about the 07, the only thing he would tell me about it is the unlimited will be extended 8" longer and will be a 4 door!!!! :shock:  :x  :shock:

I agree I was upset about the TJ when it first came out. but the bigest change was the coil over... and "few" comfort/safty things.
But no 4cyl and adding 2 more doors?!!! Hell just toss in keyless entry like staited above and heated leather seets charge 40k and call it a caddy!!! :roll:
I just want to buy a NEW CJ7 the way it use to be and call it a day. :cry:

I always wanted a cj but in chicago they are practically nonexsistant due to rust.  I have had my YJ for about 6 weeks now and the more I do and learn the more I like the whole simplicity of the thing.  My girls cousin has a 2000 TJ all jacked up which is pretty sweet.  But I dont trust airbags and the dash and counsil is just plain ugly and the interior just seems smaller. We are both about 6'2 and about250 and it seems like we have a little more room shoulder to shoulder in the YJ..  Well Jeep has always had there own market IMOP.  Now it seems they want some of that H2 or H3 market which is taking away from their original fan base.....Kind of what happened to Metalica
