I recently put a lift on my 2006 jeep wrangler rough country 6inches in the front and 4 in the rear i just like the front higher than the rearanyway my friend who put the lift in said there was a littl pinion vibration and not to worry most lift that high has a little vibration and its only going to 2nd 3rd then it smooth out is this a big deal or what my friend said he has a kit he could instaal but he don't like to unless he has to i guess its a bitch to put in,any way he said most lifted vehicles have soe what of a vibration also my speedo is off about 10 miles and hour because of the big tires is there any thing i can buy to fix this problem or just deal.thank you

If you're not lowering the transfer case and you're not cam'ing the rear diff, your pinion angles probably look bad.

I recommend doing it right the first time and not doing it half-assed.  Measure the pinion angle.  You'll either need to cam the rear axle back into spec and/or lower the transfer case.  The better option would be to get a slipyoke eliminator and a CV driveshaft.  In any case, the vibrations are caused by the driveshaft angle.

As for the speedometer check the FAQ.
