Title: 2.25 versus 2.5 inch exhaust?

What should I get for the 4 popper?

. 2.25 is lots your not going to see much difference between the 2 sizes

I ran 2.5 all the way back because my Thorley Header had a 2.5 outlet.

Its hard to quiet it down with a 2.5 inch pipe, but I do have a spintec muffler which is not known for quiet.

I did a high flow metal cat and 2.5 pipe with the spintec. Pulls hard, and is loud(did not plan that bit.)

I have the ultraflow, which is an oval glasspack, so hard pulling and loud with the 2.5? me gusto

Which Spintec are you running? I thought about running one but was worried it'd sound too, er, tinny for the little squirrels. I've ran them on other vehicles and loved it, and they sound killer on the 4 liter.

Don't remember the model number off hand, its the one they had complaints about for being too quiet... LOL right....

Its about 5" x 14" x 24" 2.5 inch outlet and inlet.

It growls a lot, has a little ring in it but not like a flowmaster...

Does the 2.5 run better with 2.5inch pipe?
