Title: Load rating on hi-lift off road kit tree saver
Post by: freedommachine on April 16, 2011, 07:45:49 PM
I have  the hi-lift off road kit the one that makes A jack into a winch. But  I have the tree saver strap,2inches x 8 feet, but I have no idea what the load rating is for it.

I don't think tree savers are rated.  I'd look at the rating for a 2" strap since it's usually the same webbing used.  Or better yet, contact the MFG.

Thats what I thought since most 2inch straps have a 20,000 pound breaking strength. It does the load sensing strip. It would be nice to use as a back up for my regular strap.

they're rated, depends on how many threads, thinkness, material - i don't think you can "estimate" by the width.
