Title: carb/fuel injector cleaner fuel additives

has anyone used the carb/fuel injector cleaner fuel additives.  A friend of mine swears by them but I try to stick to my principles

1-Friends dont let friends sing karyoke
2-Dont worry about things you cant controll
3-Dont get all hyped up on those additives

There are only a few proven fuel additives that work.  Chevron's Techron and Redline's SI-1.  Those $1.99 quick fixes you see advertised all the time are not worth your time.

Anyone have any opinions on the Lucas product line?

I used their Fuel Injection cleaner, in a full tank of gas.  I didn't notice a difference, but my wallet was about 3 bucks lighter...

The additives work ,but, you need to have a shop inject some cleaner right into the injectors to get the job done properly.
