yikes, yay for d44's!!

I'm not sure if I didn't catch it or what... but what exactly happened? I know the axle shafts broke, but did he ever find out why? I mean, axle shafts don't just break, specially both of them.

mentions that the carrier bolts failed, i yhink that might be it, but my knowlege of diffs is marginal at best

How can that happen and he not know it? Does this guy NEVER check his mirrors? Glad everyone is ok, but man how long to you have to drag one to grind the rear-end down that bad?
-
He was dirving a large RV. You can't see what's directly behind you unless it's way behind. That's why he's got the rear CCTV but that distorted the picture because of the wide angle lense so he couldn't tell there was something wrong.

I've seen other pictures of people breaking both axle shafts at once. Here are some picts of those who break on the trail though.

I don't know why, but it cracks me up seeing these type of pictures (Jeeps with a tree truck draggin). I'm really not laughing at the situation, cause frankly the, it suck. It's just the image.
