Stuck in Traffic, 108+, AC on, low speed Mark VIII, no worries

Just got out of Friday holiday stop and go in Tucson, 108 degrees, AC full blast, Mark VIII fan running on low speed (only speed hooked up to a cheapo Autozone in radiator hose thermostat and salvage yard 40 amp relay) and the temp gauge stayed right where it always is.

Well had a little trouble getting the fan to sit on radiator so it looked good.  Had to use 1/2 spacers on one side.  But its on there good now and looks like it belongs.  Got my relay in and wired it up today.   Jeep must have a better cooling system than I thought too forever for it to come up to temp for the fan to kick on.  But it was the right temp so I left the setting.  Just sitting there it does not run long.  I have it on the low speed side and it cools it right down.  With the slow start it does not seem to put a strain on my charging system.  But then I do have a 160A Alt.

Now clearing all the shroud and stuff out of the way it looks like I have a slow seep at the Upper hose/thermostat Housing.  Will need to watch that.  Also need to clean the front of the engine now that it is out in the open.

My DCC controller arrived to my forwarder in Miami on the 7th...  I now have to wait for them to bring it here and then I have to take it with my to Panama on the 17th to install in the Jeep (assuming it will leave the shop before that, which is unlikely because the DS will not arrive until Thursday 21st!).
