I've had terrible luck with this same app. It won't work with my 1997 Jeep, and the 1999 Subaru I'm using it on, it only works some of the time... I lose connection at random times if it does decide to work. Worst of all Torque freezes up my phone so bad I can't take calls after turning it on... If I power on Torque, I have to pull the battery to do anything else.. I bought two Chinese Bluetooth devices because I heard about build quality issues and both of them have spotty functionality and I'm pretty sure one doesn't work at all.

Total waste of the $70 I spent on the app, the dashboard cell phone holder and the bluetooth devices...

Sorry you lucked out. Is your phone a HTC/Samsung? There's some fixes/patches in the app for bluetooth issues with those manufactures.

FYI - "NOTE: Any reports of hanging or reboots after quitting the app is due to a bug in HTC devices and Galaxy Tab, this can be triggered by using the Pandora/Vlingo/Other BT apps. Disabling Pandora’s new Bluetooth settings fixes the problem, but HTC/Samsung need to release a fix. Please contact their support and request a fix." http://www.simvalley.us/torque-android-app-for-elm327-obdii-bluetooth-tool/

I tried even uninstalling Pandora and still had the freezing issue.

I am a year overdue for a new fartfone so I'll see what happens with the new one.

Thanks for your help though man, glad you had a good exp with it.
