FYI there are 4 different valve cover gaskets, I called the Felpro
tech line and they told me how to match them up.. There are 5
 valve covers I think he told me used on the 2.5 over its production history.

NAPA had the one I needed, nobody else did, I have the Cast Aluminum cover without tabs.

got it all together today used head needs a rebild sow it is put aside for rebild later
old head was mint the shop sed the old head was good shape not warped or cracked
and the valves where good  it seems to have been rebilt befor i got the jeep
frome the number stamped on the face
thay did it 4 years ago acrding to there books  it was a full rebild valves gides face all of it
the head gasket was blown between number 2 and water port in the head on the drivers side
the block has no port in it
it only leeked when it was running
when it was off it reseled its self

If it was rebuilt and then leaked, most likely whoever installed it probably torqued the head wrong.

The torque spec on these heads is pretty high and most people use the wrong socket on the head bolts. So slap on a new gasket and off you go. At least it was good luck on the head already being rebuilt. The machine work on the head is the most expensive part of that job.
