Vacuum line routing?
« on: April 28, 2014, 08:13:22 AM »
It's been a while since I have had time to do anything to my Yj do to other projects. But here's the question, when I installed the new engine a couple months back I eliminated the egr.
How shuold I run the vac. line to the charcoal canister since I have no egr, or should I just plug the vac. going to the egr and leave it as is?
Thanks, Al

I would just run the line from the charcoal canister that Teed into the EGR valve straight to the purge valve. so either plug the vacuum line to the egr valve or remove it and make a new line from the canister to the valve. (red line in the link)

That was pretty much what I was thinking as well.
