okay so her is the scoop, saterday night  we went down to the beach house in delawae.  While driving one the turnpike, averaging about 65-80mph.  the trans kept on shifting, the rpms, went from 2500 to 3000, and back again, it was stuttering like it had bad gass.  So i pulled over put in a fuel injector cleaner, and continued it happned agin so i said screw it and drove on.  Took the jeep out today, it is running fine, no odd shifting or anything.  It has a throttle body spacer, and yes i did space the throttle cable bracket the correct amount.  It has an the auto trans.  So any ideas? i'd love to hear them, i gotta make the drive again monday so i figured i'd try and find out before then.

BTW jeffy im loving the new avatar.

I had a similar problem. I ran SeaFoam Trans Tune in it for a few hundred miles. Changed the filter and had it flushed. Shifts perfect now. Got all the gunk out of the valve body and get the fluid moving better so it stays cooler. I am not a believer in additives, but SeaFoam is good sh-t!
