yeah baby - what a difference and they also have the stop built in. Just got them installed after the second set stock hinges went out of wack (kept rattling driving me nuts). Simple to do 1 extra hole for each hinge - replaced one at a time, the tailgate wholes and the one on the body fit right on. I got a set from a wrecker - $20 bucks, couldn't find a black TJ with the tailgate intact (there were 2 there, both rear ended) so i had to paint them (another 5 bucks or so for the paint spray can). If you have an YJ with worn out hinges i highly recommend it.
