I am swapping a 90 engine into 89, and am wondering what the basic wires needed to get it running are.  Do I need to have every pigtail hooked up, or can I just wire the battery, ignition, and starter for fire?

Crank position sensor, cam position sensor, ignition, starter.... should get you at least idling I would think. Those postion sensors are critical though :wink:
