pro comp pring pack

Alright here it is after flip flopping for the past month on what kind of setup I want to run I have finally come to the conclusion that in order to increase power and decrease breakage I will run 33's rather than 35's.  The only problem is that I have to much lift on my jeep and it looks kind of goofy.  I dont mind takin a little off but I am spring over with pro comp 2.5 springs and  my stock springs are incredibly sagged out so in an SOA configuration they practically have negative arch.  I would like to keep the lift at 6 inches because I feel that is a functional height that looks really good as well.  I havent found a spring that will really allow this amount of lift that is not a stock replacement or a very stiff spring.  Because of this I plan on taking the bottom leaf off of each of my 2.5 4leaf spring(making it a 3 leaf pack).  seeing as these springs are very stiff I would think that they would flex better and hopefully sag a little which would reduce their lift.  Igot an 8.8 and I know a traction bar would be a must.  Do you think this will lower the springs or will I just destroy them immediately because they are to soft? Could I make a mix pack with stock springs? any ideas.

Dude I just did this on my 4" procomp spring packs and I love the the results. They were very stiff before and now they are just right so they articulate good on the trial. All you need is new center pins and a pair of C-Clamps to do it right. I also cleaned and painted the leafs when I had them apart so they looked like new again. Oh yeah I lost an inch of lift.
